Title of the Training: Complications in Oral Surgery

Stefano graduated UMF Carol Davila in 2021 and is currently completing advanced master in oral surgery within the IMOS at the International University of Catalunya.

As a past EDSA VPI, Stefano has coordinated more than 11 EVP programs  all throughout Europe between 2017 and 2019.

Involved in an implantology research project on behalf of Straumann group, he investigates novel techniques in guided surgery and immediate loading in zygomatic implants.

Title of the Training: Alternative Careers for a Dentistry Graduate

Daniela is a dentist passionate by global public health and health policy. 

As an EDSA alumni, she held the position of  Research Officer for two consecutive years and then became the EDSA General Secretary. During her mandate as General Secretary, Daniela started an internship with the Council of European Dentists (CED) in Brussels, Belgium, after which she became a Policy Officer, a position she held for 3 years. In 2023, she received her second Master’s in Global Health from the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm. 

Currently, Daniela is a Public Health consultant with the World Health Organisation (WHO) and she works on public health topics, including oral health, AMR, refugee response, health promotion and prevention. 

She believes that her experience in EDSA was life-changing, since it was the first step in discovering a different path in her career, the topic that she will be speaking about during the 73rd EDSA meeting in Bucharest.

Title of the Training: Business in the Field of Dentistry

Dr. Cristina Rizea graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry in 2011, then pursued the 3 years Prosthodontics Specialty Programme of the same university, leading to the title of ‘Specialist in Prosthetics’ in 2014. In 2018, she finished her Ph.D. studies and received the Doctor in Medical Sciences title.

Starting 2018, Dr. Cristina Rizea teaches the Prosthetics module of the Orthodontics Master of Universidad de Extremadura in Spain. She was the Editor and then the General Secretary of the European Dental Students’ Association (EDSA), the vice-president of the Dental Medicine Students’ League (LSMDB) in Bucharest.

In 2013 she Co-Founded Dexellence and in 2017 she Co-Founded Dexellence Clinic, where she is currently working as a Prosthodontist and Treatment Coordinator.
